A nuclear missile is underway. You have 20 minutes. What would you do? Join us for a special screening of the political thriller A House of Dynamite, in which a single unidentified nuclear missile forces world leaders to make abrupt life-or-death decisions. As uncertainty, miscommunication, and pressure mount, the film offers a riveting look at how close the world can come to catastrophe.
The screening will be introduced by nuclear expert prof. Michal Onderco who will contextualize the events of the film. What reflects real world nuclear politics? And: How realistic is the thought of a rogue nuclear missile?
Michal Onderco is Professor of International Relations in the Department of Public Administration and Sociology at ESSB. He is an expert on nuclear politics and international security, and author of the book Europe’s Nuclear Umbrella. Contesting Nuclear Sharing since 2010 (2026)
